Girl Next Door Photo Shoot with Kayla Rando

My vision for this look was very bronzed skin, thick eyeliner and light, golden eye shadows. The lashes added drama to the look and brought out her beautiful eyes. I finished it off with golden gloss to bring some shine and pout to her lips.

Very flirty and innocent but sexy at the same time. Kind of like your Girl Next Door.

Artistic Collaboration with Marcin Sokolowski

Marcin had envisioned her character to be very dark, lifeless, depressing and overall creapy and erie.

I played around with grey and black tones for her eyes and really mattified the skin. I wanted the lips to have no color and stained red.

I can honestly say that this was one of the funnest photoshoots I have done in a long time. It felt liberating to go outside of the box and bring someones imagination to life.

The birth of a new beauty

Welcome to my official makeup Blog!

This blog was created to view and document my makeup artistry, photography, beauty raves, tutorials and to share a bit of my life.

I have know Kerri since high school and we have stayed close friends since. She has an amazing personality and she is the most genuine person you will ever meet. How she looks on the outside really reflects the beauty she has on the inside.

I was inspired by her beauty to create a fresh, romantic and angelic look for spring. The setting is Downtown, Edmonton, Beaver Hills Park and 104 Street Promenade.
